Tour Plan

Welcome to Kenya! Our tour manager will receive you at the airport in Nairobi and take you to your hotel for check in. Discover Nairobi, the safari capital of Africa and a city that never seems to sleep, by night. Experience the fantastic music scene and one of the many excellent restaurants.

Amboseli National Park is located in southern Kenya and bounded to the south by Mt. Kilimanjaro. The name Amboseli is derived from the Maasai word 'em-posel' for the salty dust found on the seasonally flooded Amboseli "lake" when it rains. Amboseli's swamps, plains, woodlands and bush country support a diversity of wildlife ranging from the minute and rare spectacled elephant shrew to the huge bulk of the African elephant, the gerenuk and the Fringe-eared Oryx. The swamps and lake are also home to over 400 bird species making the park a paradise for bird watchers.

Depart after breakfast and drive to Amboseli National Park with a stopover at Namanga Township for a break. Proceed to arrive for lunch at the lodge. At 1600hrs a game drive will be provided. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

The Aberdares offer striking mountain scenery - a mix of the Alps combined with stretches of dense jungle and amazing waterfalls, with the largest a stunning 300m plunge. You can also see lots of animals as the park has a high concentration of buffaloes, elephants, hyenas and the rare bongo antelope at the comfort of your balcony as they come to the watering point adjacent to the lodge.

Early breakfast at the lodge, depart thereafter and drive to Aberdare National Park with a stopover in Nairobi for lunch. Proceed to arrive for check in at one of the tree lodges, dinner and overnight stay will be provided.

Lake Baringo is a fresh water lake and with its picturesque islands and encircling mountains is a spectacular sight. The lake has a lot of fish and consequently many herons, cormorants and marabus can be found here. On Gibraltar Island, a birders paradise, are breeding more Goliath herons than anywhere else in East Africa. Bird walks and boat rides are the most popular activities around Lake Baringo but cultural tours to local villages can be arranged as well. Breakfast at the lodge, depart thereafter to rejoin your driver guide and proceed to L. Baringo to arrive for lunch. Relax at the lodge, a boat ride or a cultural trip can be arranged. All meals and overnight at the lodge.

Lake Bogoria has achieved fame as the "new home of flamingos", with a migrant population of up to two million birds. The reserve offers plenty of wildlife apart from flamingos including leopard and is one of few parks in Kenya accessible on foot and bike.

Lake Nakuru is one of the alkaline Rift Valley lakes with its shores populated at times by more than one million flamingos, which has been called "the greatest bird spectacle on earth". Game drives offer you the opportunity to get as close as ten meters to this spectacle and to see giraffe, rhino and the elusive tree climbing lions. Enjoy the variety of wildlife combined with its striking and varied landscapes - driving through the savannah, passing by the lake and the swamps and negotiating the rocky path up to the baboon cliffs with their stunning views across the entire park will create a sense of wonder and admiration in even the most traveled visitor.

The Masai Mara – endless seas of golden grass dotted with hesitant shrubs, broken here and there with the ghostly acacia trees and ringed by distant hills, the chocolate Mara river waters with frolicking hippos, immensely rich animal life including countless game and large prides of lions – fulfils the expectations of any visitor searching the African landscapes portrayed in movies such as "Out of Africa". From July to October, this is the sight of one of the most spectacular and dramatic sites on earth - the annual migration of one million wildebeests and 200,000 zebras following the seasonal rains in a quest for the best pastures, finding along the way the crocodile-crowded river.

Depart after breakfast and drive through the Great Rift Valley with a stopver at Narok town. Proceed to arrive for lunch at the lodge. At 1600hrs your guide will pick you for a game drive in the park. Return to the lodge dinner and overnight stay.

Spend the whole day in Masa Mara with full day game drives in the park. All meals and second overnight will be provided.
